Abbey Parks is an account coordinator for The PR Boutique’s Austin office, interacting regularly with the firm’s clients and assisting in the daily performance of its public relations initiatives. Her role requires communicating effectively and professionally with key client contacts, maintaining a high level of awareness of the firm’s activities on their behalf, and performing detail-oriented project management support, as needed.
Previously, Abbey provided social media development and marketing services for an interior design company. She has implemented influencer strategy programs for numerous high-profile brands, punching up their social media content by using endorsements and product mentions from niche influencers with dedicated social media followings. Abbey’s background also includes experience as a leasing agent, giving her a knowledge base that serves her well in working with The PR Boutique’s many real estate and development clients.
Abbey’s primary strengths reside in her passion for media relations and social media engagement. She finds it fascinating to build and operate in virtual networks and communities where ideas are shared and cultivated. Abbey’s favorite aspect of her job is building relationships with clients. She especially enjoys working with those in the restaurant, hotel, real estate, and health and wellness fields.
When not working, Abbey loves spending time with family and friends, exercising, trying new Austin restaurants, and relaxing on Lake Austin.
